Bibb County District Court Records
Bibb County does not have a district court. Instead, the county has different trial courts, including a state, juvenile, probate, magistrate, and municipal court. These courts have original and sometimes limited jurisdiction over specific types of cases. For instance, the state court can handle criminal misdemeanor cases, including traffic violations, and issue search and arrest warrants. Meanwhile, the magistrate court can also issue warrants and hear minor criminal offense cases and civil claims involving $15,000 or less.

It is worth noting that Bibb County Marriage Certificates from June 1952 to August 1996 are obtainable through Georgia's Department of Public Health (DPH). Georgia's DPH can also verify marriages recorded in Bibb County on or after January 1, 2014.
Bibb County Birth and Death Records
Bibb County birth and death records are preserved by the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) and are considered confidential records. As a result, only certain eligible people can request certified copies of these records. These eligible persons include the following:
